The Origins of Pipsqueak

Pipsqueak Prints & Crafts has its origins all the way back in the early 90's.
Pipsqueak was a creation of my grandfather Arthur.
He loved telling stories and he created  stories about a very small dragon named Pipsqueak which he based on me, as I had numerous health issues which caused me to be quite small.

He told stories of Pipsqueak on adventures exploring the world, making friends and sharing his favourite food (chocolate frogs) with those he made along the way.
My Papa Arthur is no longer with us, but I wanted to keep the spirit of Pipsqueak alive and the creativity that created him.
So I got to work on drawing my vision of Pipsqueak which is where our logo was formed.

Where We Started

I bought a Bambu Labs A1 mini for my birthday in 2025 and I was amazed at the things it could create. I printed accessories for my Meta Quest 3 headset, fidgets, general containers for objects around the house
and then I had an idea, "I want to build my own lightsaber".

I searched around looking for designers that may have what I am looking for. I eventually stumbled across our designer and was amazed at what they had come up with, I printed and built one for myself and had a great time doing it.

This formed the basis for Pipsqueak Prints & Crafts.
I wanted to give people the same experience I had with the wonder of being a fan of Star Wars and wanting to be a part of that world. With that, I printed parts and found other products that fit mine and my wonderful wife (Bree who without this whole endeavour would have collapsed at the first hurdle)'s interests and that's how we come to today, we have a range of products that we ourselves love and use inspired by franchises we love.

Our home at Eumundi Markets

I have always loved the Eumundi markets when I first went 20 years ago as a teenager. I fell in love with the community aspect, the food, the ginger beer and the fact that all these people came together to make and share their creations.

So naturally when we started doing markets I set my sights on getting into the Eumundi Markets. We went through different stall set ups and different products until we eventually found our feet and put our application in with I Love Eumundi Markets where we met with Louis and gave our pitch and he welcomed us to Eumundi!
